| I know someone out there has to be into Keller Williams. What song better to listen to high than Kidney in a Cooler? A local band called Tweedside does an awesome cover of that song with a bass with a wah pedal and it makes you want to dance especially when high. | |

| Oh my god!!!! I love Keller!! I saw him for the first time at the Spring Fling last summer in West Virginia. He played three sets in three days and I have loved him ever since. You gotta love Kidney in a Cooler. Or howabout, "Funk the Funk that lingers, the funk that gets you high." And he has covered just about every song. He does Dead tunes all the time and is the only person that can cover Phish. If anybody hears of Keller playing in your area, go! Don't ask questions, just go! You will thank me later.

| The crazy things is that he dosen't have a band, although he did an album with String Cheese. What he normally does is play acoustic, and he'll be jamming away on the acoustic (I think its a 10 string) and then he'll loop a guitar riff and then he'll play some bass. He'll jam on that for awhile and then he'll loop a bassline. Then he might be a drum machine with his mouth and loop that, or jam on his vocal trumpet (which sounds amazing), or pick up the steel drum. He is nuts. A few friends of mine had the pleasure of seeing him in Cinci a few months ago and they describe it like there was you, and there was Keller because the place was so small. I was this close to going to that show too. I just saw a Keller setlist the other day where he plays the Wedge>Cavern>Stagger Lee>The Eleven. ![]() |

| Some of Keller's albums have been with a band (the one with string cheese and he did have a band for an album or 2) but when he plays shows it's all by his lonesome. He has his soundman who does some background vocals and makes sure the loops are tight, and that's it. Nobody plays guitar like Keller Williams, nobody. The man is insane, I have no idea how he does it. I can listen to him all day, he's such a wonderful, amazing musician. Words can't describe......
