| Check these out: The Clash........ any cd will do(great raggae influence before it became a trend)\ Operation Ivy The Specials(believe it or not they were considered the first wave of british ska punk(but not hardcore) Buck o nine Murphy's law...... yes there a hardcore band, but have the old school ska/punk thing from the days(back with a Bong is a great disc) Suicide Machines first disc nofx sometimes they'll throw one song in for good measure I know more but to baked right now to remember bands to stay away from No Doubt.............cheeseball band that wouldn't have made it if it wasn't for the fact that the singer is a hottie. same goes for Blink 182 horrible rubbish. Vile, Crap like this defies what punk is all about. Not some punk backstreet boy gap selling dribble sorry to offend if you like the above mentioned. | |

| man no doubt is not that bad, well i only have tragic kingdom. And that one hella of album, nice ska tunes. But after that i agree they got pop-er. "ex-girlfriend" is the last song that i like from them, thier new hit is trash. And yes Gwen Stefani is hot, not very big rack, but still hot. And their band is at least 15 years old man, so they been around for a while

| Doritos Man, It's just a matter of opinion, but if you like them great As far as the Clash goes, your always going to have some schmuck out there ruining there songs, But that song I believe was off Combat Rock, Try listening to London Calling or Give em enough rope, I don't think anyone in the pop world could screw them up. But that's rap(if you want to call W. Smith rap)Take great songs them sample them then turn it into a pile of **** so you can please all the little teenyboppers as if it was your original. Now Im not going to get into rap cause I like some of it, but remember this is just my opinion. thanks and smoke a fatty ![]() | |

| Speaking of sampling, when I went to college there was someone in my dorm playing a rap song of some sort that sampled James Brown. They somehow took the soul out of the Godfather of Soul. I still don't know how they did it.
