| Hello everyone. I just want to see if anyone knows of any REALLY GOOD enya type songs (not Enya though [already know all about them]). I know a little bit about Egnima and love their "Return to Innocence" and "Indian Chanting" songs, but can't really seem to find any other GOOD new age (enya) type stuff. Also, I was wondering if any of you had any good Celtic type music, or any other international music to recommend. Sorry I'm rambling, probably brought on by a state of incredible stonedness. Any suggestions would be great. | |

| ..I have a very eclectic taste in music. If you're looking for some terriffic new age music, try any of the Pure Moods soundtracks. I prefer the first one myself. You could also look into Enigma. As for other types of music, look into Gregorian chant or french celtic music. I have some traditional french music from Dinan and some of it is rather beautiful while some is downright fun. Some trance can fit into the new age category, in my opinion. I think that if you look into the Pure Moods collection, any one of the artists that contributed would be a treat to listen to. I love listening to new age when I am stoned, especially when I am alone. This type of music takes you on journeys through distant lands and makes your heart and spirit soar. Or, maybe that's just me. ![]() Peace. Nessa

| Another thing you can do is turn on your local NPR radio station. When itsnot news they'll play just about anything from Blugrass to new age, from Celtic to the grateful dead. The one around here has a new age show every week night and celtic show on saturdays.
