Tonight i was listning to my headphones while i went out to smoke and i was listning to some gorillaz and the most kickass thing happened.

The last song on the CD is called "left hand suzuki method" and right at the start of the song there is the sound of someone lighting a lighter and taking a huge bong rip and i was just starting to spark it up right when the song started. Anyway the song goes on for like 4 minutes and then stops and then there is like 5 minutes of silence and then all of a sudden this kickass remix of "clint eastwood" starts.

Man they timed this CD perfectly because all durring the first part of the song you are sparking it... then it goes quiet and you kinda forget that your even listning to a CD untill the remix kicks in just as you start to get really baked. Its really badass and i had never listened to the song before so i had no idea what was happining for a second i thought i was halucinating the whole thing....

Anyways i recomend you all give it a try its pretty fun i sure liked it

lol ya i thought the beginning of that song was pretty cool too, but as for the remix, i never liked it much, definately makes me wanna put in the cd right now

That's Dan the Automator for ya....he smokes TONS of chronic before he creates a beat for anyone....

Check out some of his earlier shit like Dr. Octagon or Deltron 3030 for more trip-hop goodness

Listen to a song by Cypress Hill for an almighty bong rip - on the IV album with the skeletons on the cover, I think it's called 'High Times'. There's a huge toke and then this guy says something like "that's some baaaad weed" then the song kicks in!

Oh yeah....pretty much anything produced by El-P is excellent as well....kinda in the same style of Gorillaz yet....different...
