Today I had an awesome jam. I went over to my friend's house and we got very high, one of those highs where you really feel connected with music.

Anyways, we started playing dueling banjos (with my strat and his gibson). I was playing the banjo part, with the treble up and a crisp sound and he was playing the first guitar with heavy distortion and his wah-wah pedal on. That has got to be the craziest thing I have ever played/heard

Just had to share it with you all, anyone else have a nice stoned jam session? Another one that comes in mind was last year - me and 3 other people got really stoned and started playing some jazz and blues stuff that was so much fun (harmonica, drums, bass, guitar, and even the bongo drums near the end).

Nothing better than stoned jamming. I just did some of that last night with some buds of mine. 4 guitars in one room, it was nice. Jammed on some dead tunes, some hookah. Rolling in my sweet baby's arms. A few other sprinkled in. Check out my thread entitled the power of improvisational music for my best experience jamming. Its buried somewhere in the music forum and I'm too lazy to post the link (Leithreas? did i spell it right?).

I love to jam on the strat while i'm stoned. I usually come up with weird music and lyrics. The creative juices flow when i do some stoned jamming. Jamming when you aren't stoned ain't bad either.

Hey, I love a good banjo player. Just becaue you don't dig it dosen't mean that you have to slam it. You don't see me going around slamming rap and hip-hop, which i could easily do. But i don't because if i want people to respect my opinions I have to respect theirs.
