You guys that are into jazz. Check out a band from Boston called....Addison Groove Project. They f*ckin jam!!!!!!!!!

Just saw them. They were joined by the legendary Charlie Hunter on trombone. They blew the house down.
If you EVER get a chance...check 'em out.

hey kool kat...

jazz + marijuana = classic combination that has resonated throughout the ages

I'm very very new to jazz, and would like more suggestions for bands to check out...mostly what I enjoy is fast, chaotic fusion jazz, you know, "controlled chaos", that sort of thing any bands you or anyone could suggest would be much appreciated...

I'll be sure to check out that boston band

Really doubt charlie hunter would've joined them on trombone since he plays 8-string guitar.........

Get anything by Miles Davis. Then get anything by anyone who's ever recorded with Miles. You're gonna be busy for a while

Don't forget John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Charles Mingus, I could go on forever.

Definitely check out "kind of blue" by miles davis and "a love supreme" by coltrane...two of the best jazz albums ever

Not calling anyone stupid man, I just thought it was odd. Is this the same charlie hunter, or is there a different one who's a trombonist?

Cool Hey Bailey

I think a different one.

This guy was old. He had a drummer....a dude who rapped and played a killer jazz harmonica, he had a big ole 'fro....Charlie...and a dude scratching........

They did this one jam with Addison Groove Project...must been half hour at least....and...whew.......blew me away!!

Also...I just purchased tickets for Trey Anastasio...at the Greek in LA!! Never been there....should be great. Phil and Friends are playing there 4 days before....just may have to go to that one too!

seeing your avatar... I am assuming you are a Phil fan. Prob Phish too?? huh??

Pan is supposed to change our title to.....moderator from HC..or something like that.

Talk to ya later dude

There's the problem! The 8-string guitar player is a much younger guy, but that's cool.

Trey's awesome, i saw him twice last summer, might be seeing him this year too, depends on if his tour coincides with any of the other festivals I'm gonna be hitting this year. I had to miss jerry's birthday bash last year for deer creek, and I ain't doing that again!
