| i always knew that winamp visualizations would be trippy when high but didn't know how much untill last night. i have my monitor right at the foot of my bed, so i can lay down and watch winamp between my feet. i smoked a fat bowl out of my zong, cranked kmk, and omg i have never tripped so much before. i felt like my whole body was disconnected from everything and that i was flying through some warphole or trippy ****. i was so gone i couldn't even get up, its like i was paralyzed. but it was the best high i have ever had. i wholly recommend winamp visualizations to everybody ![]() |

| i know what you mean. i haven't tripped out to winamp yet, but i have to fractals and other trippy programs. if you want a really fun thing to do in the computer while stoned (or sober!) is play tetripz....its tetris, but on drugs. its really f*ckin trippy. http://www.mutefantasies.com

| My 'puter can stand the visualizations plug ins, as soon as i load the thing my computer goes to hell, everything slows down and the mosic starts to break up. I need some of those cool 3d cards. Now that would be sweet!

| Haha, one of the things I did the first time I ever got high was watch those. I know what you mean. I was so messed up I thought this one twirling one was the barrel of a gun that I was flying through ![]()

| when i first downloaded an update of winamp that included that AVS program, i was blown away. eventually, after much fiddling, i figured out how to make my own visualizations that were very weed-friendly. and while they may not be as mathematically enhanced as some of the newer stuff at winamp.com, they still get the job done (quite nicely, in my opinion). what better way to compliment great music than with a trippy screen saver that responds to that music. it'll take you to a different world. if anyone is interested, i've attached a .zip of some of my favorite homemade visualizations. i made them specifically to watch while stoned. personally, i think they're pretty sweet. | |

| try this- unzip the .avs files into your program files\winamp\plugins\avs directory. after that, run winamp, select visualizations, go to select plugin, click on Advanced Visualization Studio, and then start it. once you have that going, right click on the visualization and your choices should be listed. if you double click on the visualization itself, a screen will pop up that will enable you to edit/create visualizations. if you need any more help, try consulting winamp.com | |

and for anyone who hasn't , get a lot of visualizations for winamp and weed (heh pun) out the ones you like, they truly make it an experience rather than just the same old. Now all they need is plug-ins that let you taste, feel and smell the music ![]()

| Couldn't agree more, those WinAmp plugins are soooo cool (helps if you have some decent tunes plying thru your comp as well tho). The dancing chick ones are sweet, especially the Valentines one ![]() There's 3 of em I think in total, check out the developer's site for more info: http://www.wildtangent.com/candy/visualizers.html I recommend downloading the "Dream Pack" one as a couple on there are v.trippy. Enjoy peeps. ~flashbax |

| my favourite winamp visualiation is MilkDrop, very good detecting the beat and other sounds of the song and morps accordinlgy. If you think youv'e seen it all it shows something even more spectacular. I could watch it for hours, just trippin' out ![]() |
