Name this instrument

I have no ideia whats called. I saw in a Charlie Brown Special today, snoopy was playing it, it makes a little "sping" like sound, you play it in your mouth but its not a wind instrument it has a little lever(?) that you hit it and makes a funky noise. I want to buy one of those, they make a cool sound.

I saw this tv show on discovery or TLC and they talked about an instrument that no companies produce any more. they said if you'd have one made it'll cost 7,000 bucks. try to picture this. you know those old sewing machines made of wood that you pump the peddle with your foot and the wheel spins (I think its a spindall) but not sure. that was the base of the instrument. then you have a glass blower make a bunch of different sized glass balls and have them cut in half. then they stack the half cylinders like you can stack bowels or cups. then the stack fits horizontally in the spindall and you keep a bowel of water beside it to wet your fingers then you spin all the glass and makes the most erie sounds. they stoped producing it because it would put people into a trance. it sounds like a haunted castle or something. any way I only saw the program once and the instruments called the
GLASS HARMONICA.

My father used to own a music store for 12 years, as well as being a veteran musician of many instruments (he has played guitar for 37+ years, as well as playing many others.)
He also plays the instrument you are thinking of, as well as selling them in his music store, which would be called a "Jaw Harp." ...they take some practise, I've tried it a few times but can't seem to get it. Mind you, I only attempted briefly all times.

Well, alrighty then.
Wow, just made a home made water bong...tried 'er out, burned a number of bowls, and now I am typing here and listening to Tool's Pushit.
