This morning on KMTT, The Mountain, 103.7 FM in Seattle, during an interview with Trey this was said:

trey - "I will say this, NOv. 17 at the Hartford Civic Center."

radio guy - "So is that like a hint for all the phish phans out there?"

trey - "Yeah thats a little hint, we also plan on getting together at 1 of my shows this tour. So all you fans better come to every show..."


But someone checked and the civic centers booked for a sporting event that night and he also let out a big trey laugh after he said it. I hope to holy hell that they play at bonnaroo though, it would make my life.

Man, you have no idea how I'm banking on a bonnaroo appearance, though i think it quite unlikely. Time will tell. I don't believe what he said on the show today (and I listened to it) though.

I'm hoping for to Roo appearance, but seems unlikely. If they were going to do it, it doesnt seem logical to do it at a festival with 80,000+ people. Probably at his date in VT or RCMH. Also, I didn't hear the broadcast, the quotes were secondhand info so i'm not saying it's entirely accurate, although i heard many different accounts of similar wordage.

Are you crazy? Bonnaroo would be the PERFECT storybook end to the hiatus! 80000+ TRUE jammers who are there not for corperate bull****, but for the music. Bonnaroo is going to be all about the music, and that's exactly what Phish wanted to be.

Still, I'm not bankin' on it. If it happens, it'll be amazing. If not, we'll just have to hope it happens at all...

I just read on jambands.com that Phish's management has said it was only a joke. Pretty damn cruel joke if you ask me. I bet there still gonna be some heads in Hartford in Nov. 17 though.

dmbtex, I hope you're right when you say that all of them are gonna be the true heads at bonnaroo. Every festival I've been to with 10,000+ has had a signifcant shady population. Not large really, but enough to affect the vibe. Its not that hard to avoid them though, most of them don't go and see the music. And maybe with just having pre-sale tickets Bonnaroo will keep that element out.

I just got back from Hookahville, and it had a good vibe. And despite overdoing it a little bit on friday, I had a blast. The music was incredible. Bela Fleck is amazing, I dug Umphreys McGee, MMW blew everyone away, Bruce Hornsby sounded good from the campsite, and ekoostik Hookah outdid themselves, as they always seem to do. Sorry for the stoned ramble but I just indluged in a bowl of some headies with some hash on top for reflection purposes. So to anyone heading out to festivals this summer, have fun and be safe. And prepare for rain!

now that I think about it, i think i have to agree with you. yes, there are gunna be some really down peeps, but on the other hand, there are gunna be a lot of people who arent there for the music...

for example (a very sad example): i got caught smokin by my mom last tuesday, and she decided she wasnt going to let me go alone to bonnaroo anymore... the only way i can go now is if she goes with me, and she DEFINITELY isn't down. it doesnt bother me that much since ill still be going... wait what the hell am i saying it bothers the **** out of me... shes going to ruin the vibe for me and probobly many others... thats the kinda people im afraid of. i dont care that i wont be able to smoke, but i do care that im going to have to listen to some of my favorite fans with my social conservative ***** of a mother...
