i hear good music ALL the time on the radio. and it gets me so frustrated when they don't tell you the name. i've heard this one song, well, now i now it's by next and called dancin real close. well, at dances i'd hear it all the time, and i loved it, it's a great song, and i have "memories" attached to it. anyhow, for like a year i've been asking everyone i know about it. no one knew, and just now on kazaa, i randomly searched for words i heard in the song, and found it. anyhow, does that also get you po ed? anyhow, i'm not a real big fan of dave matthews, but his one song i just listened to, called satellite, is really kick ass.

That happens to me all the time. What I do is goto Google and enter (without quotes):

"lyrics <any lyrics you can remeber from the song>"

usually within the first 5 links it's your song. Putting in words from the chorus has a higher chance of a better return too (more unique words).

When i listen to npr they always identify they always identify everything they play. Like i heard some Tony Rice with Bela Fleck today. It kicked ass.

I saw this new cell phone service on TV where you can hold up your phone to the music and it will tell you which song/artist it is thru a text msg on your phone!

Yeah I hate that, I am always listening to this punk station in my town, and they hardly ever tell you the names of the songs, they just usually tell you who they're by.
