Ah, bluegrass. Now thats roots music. Theres a radio station down here thats out of a college in the mountains of NC, ya know, the birthplace of bluegrass, Appalachia!

This station has out a really nice CD set called "Crowd Around the Mike" vol 6. Its a 2 disc-er that is made up of studio performances that will blow yur mind in every which way.

The station is WNCW, try www.wncw.org and if ya feel so inclined, listen to it for a while, their programming is awesome.

IF you feel really generous, donate a little and get yourself the cd set, its worth it yall.

I just saw an amazing bluegrass band from Southern Illinois on Thursday. They fuggin' rocked out! Their originals were awesome and they covered Cavern and Back in Black. I just had to buy their CD afterwards. Their name is Broken Grass and I highly suggest you see them if they come to your neck of the woods. They will be at moe summercamp, and I will definitely see them there.

I went down to a String Cheese show last week but they were all sold out. Yonder Mountain is a great band also.

Hell yeah Bluegrass rocks! I went to a bluegrass music festival in Vt a couple weeks ago, It was so awesome. Except i was smoking pot cause i was there with my mom
