I have listened to Dark Side of the Moon so many times it isn't even funny. I haven't listened to it in a while though. But I remember listening to it first like 4 years ago in my brother's car on the way to school in the wee hours of the morning. I immediately loved the album and the band.

Ah dude, this thread is awesome....
My first time hearing dark side in its entirety was at a laser show in the IMAX theatre in town. I was actually with my boy scout troop (no kidding, we had cool leaders) a number of years ago, and we kinda up and decided to check it out. I remember the sounds seemed so new and ear-opening, I remember the bass and the horns and the highest of high notes. I dont think that I drifted off once the entire time. Man, that night changed my musical direction in life.... I owe my current love of music to an old scoutmaster, GO FIGURE.....
peace

Default One of the best CDs ever

I heard it first in my pre-toking "I act like i smoke pot but i really don't" poser phase. It was the first music i heard stoned, though. I was amazed. I can't even explain it. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......... Floyd

Cool Dark Side Of the Moon

Actually, the first time I heard it in it's entirety was last night. I'm down here at Purdue for the weekend chilling at the new place I'm renting and somebody had DSOTM in the cd player so I cranked it, got some munchies and smoked and listened and chilled. Very, very good album.

Well, I can't remember the first time I ever heard it, but the first time I heard it stoned was the summer before freshman year at highschool. I was on a walk with my dog and I was sooo out of it, and I just floated into my bliss. When I got home I sat on my yard in front of my house until the CD was over...when it was I felt like I was complete.

I listened to it one night while I was lieing in bed. There was this period when I was first getting into Floyd that I got all the albums at the same time, and every night for 2 weeks or so I would listen to a different album. I instantly fell in love with Floyd, and now they are by far my favourite band.

I was probably in sixth grade. I got the Wall for christmas in fifth grade grade and loved it, but when I got Dark Side of the Moon I didn't really like it.

I started to listen to it again ninth grade and loved it. Ever since I started listening to it the first two songs put me almost to sleep and then the bells wake me back up and its so awesome and the end puts it out so well
