<===== Check out my name

Best Pink Floyd song of all time. I listen to it over and over when im stoned and it deeply moves me everytime I hear it. Cant really explain why, just the way the hammond organ sounds and how they play it its just so freakin cool. I first heard the song before i was ever stoned and I never really paid much attention to it.

BUT THEN........i got really stoned and started to listen to music on my comp. i was randomly selecting pink floyd songs without even looking. I began to listen to a song and it made me think of Las Vegas type lights every where of all different colors, and when i opened my eyes i saw that it was the song any colour you like and i was like woah...coincidence?

When I used to talk to my dad, he told me a story about a friend of his. The guy had never heard of Pink Floyd, but finally was coerced into buying DSOTM. This guy was into, something that rhymes with hell ess di (oh how clever I am), and was on it when he first heard DSOTM. My dad visits him in the institute whenever he travels down to Arizona.

Dark Side of Oz kicks ass...

I've done it a few times, but it really helps if you're high. The best is to use the original vinyl, the CD sometimes has problems with the syncronization. Vinyl combined with a DVD of Oz, and you're set, just make sure you're all set for the flip, and to pause the movie...

I think that Dark Side of the Moon is definitely the band's musical peak. They never once topped this, in my opinion. Never before or since did they get such a strong sense of collaboration between all four band members, and it really shows on this album. 'Any Colour You Like' is by far my favorite song of DSotM, but really the whole second side of the LP is untouchable. I don't think it is possible to created a stronger sequence than 'Us and Them -> Any Colour -> Brain Damage -> Eclipse.'

Dark Side of the Moon is, without a doubt, my favorite album of all time.

I compleatly agree that Dark Side Of The Moon is the best album ever recored (also = with only "The Wall" also by the Floyd crew).
I think my dad was definetly the one who introduced me to Pink Floyd and they have been my fave. band since. I must have heard it a longgg time before I ever smoked my first doobie. I was a young kid and they never needed weed to be good.
...unlike most music now days. *sigh*
