Imo hes just as 'pop' as any of the teen divas. I mean some people here b!tch how anything on mtv is sold out, but still like eminem when he has bunch of videos and plays at awards with little tricks like flying in and fires.

The boys that listen to him are the same ones that have sisters that listen to britney.

I cant say that i hate his work, he does have some cool songs. Not many tho, i can count the ones i like in one hand. I did like "my name is" but it got boring fast.

Generally i dont like any new rap...I like the old **** such as easy-e, westside connection, snoop....u know, the good rap
but i really dont like rap that much....im much more into rock. But for some reason i like eminem, i think its cuz he just 'dont give a f*u*c*k' which is really cool...
but right now i am sooooo ****ing sick of his whole new cd i could puke The other day my friend thought it would be cool to listen to the oldest eminem CD, and i was like NO MORE ****ING EMINEM!!!! and quickly changed it....probably to NIN or something

It's a great CD..... I can see why people don't like eminem, but to say he's not tallented is to deny the obvious simply because he's an ass hole. No one except me can do the things he can with words..... it truly is amazing

Eminem gets worse with every album....its a known fact.

For example....check out his first album "Infinite"....upbeat....good message...blah blah blah....

Slim Shady EP - good concept songs (Murder, Murder...etc)

Slim Shady LP - some of the above....but starts to go madd commercial (ex: My Name Is)

MMLP - wow look mom I'm angry!

Eminem Show - I have nothing left to talk about because I abandoned by artistic roots years ago

Manson has actually done a lot of good work.

The problem is

A. the only songs that ever get played on the radio or tv are the absolute worst ones ( with the exception of Coma White).

B. lyrically manson is quite talented, but musically his songs are far too repetitive. THey'll run one catchy riff into the ground usually.

C. I don't know what to think of manson because every one of his CDs is the same int eh respect that 3 or 4 songs are really, really good, 2 or 3 are extremely bland and the rest are just horrible.


but, if you actually wanted to hear some of hte better stuff ( now keep in mind, the better stuff isn't great, but I think it's decent. ) then get these

manson actually has talent, the problem is he doesn't care about it. He's there to market his music, produce what will get the most people to listen to it, and do it with a flashy gimmick. He's more business man than musician.

( sorry, know this is a rap thread, but I saw that comment and wanted to respond to it. heh)

I love Eminem..he has so much talent that never gets showed on the radio..the songs that alot of you guys judge him by are the songs on his cds that suck the most.."my name is" "slim shady" "without me" IMO are the worst songs on all of the cds they came from..those songs were prolly only produced because of the popness that they have and because they are catchy songs. If you listen to his real music not only what they play on the radio then u will hear that he has alot of talent and is putting out much more than homophobic hatefull bull****..

Is it just me, or is a lot of Eminem's rapping copied over twice on the same media, one playing a tenth of a second or so after the other one, and the result becomes part of the song? I noticed that when I was high. I don't know if this makes sense or not.

Manny - it makes perfect sense. I really don't like Eminem becusae he has lots of problems and goes pretty crazy. It's sad when even on your unedited album you have to bleep stuff out, like on his last one. I do like a few songs, but other than that, he's not a fav or mine.
