Default Tool Live

I just got my tickets today to go see Tool in July and can't wait. I've never seen Tool live before, but have heard from people that have that they are incredible live. Anybody that has been to a Tool show please respond and let me know how it was...especially if it was within the past year.

I saw Tool , October 2001, in Washington DC. They played about a 2 hour set, it was AWESOME...

No sober though, the only song I really really wanted to hear live.

Default for me..

for me at least, words cannot decribe how incredible the concert was they put on here in mpls/stpaul. im a little dissapointed cause i smoked too much pot(not a whole lot). i only intended to take a few hits. but from what i remeber (which is a lot), they were nothing short of amazing. i frequent some tool fan websites and the fourms and the people there are all testimony to the concerts. seeing Tool live is diffrent from seeing another band live, theres just something more to it. youll see.

They are good live. I was a bit younger and did not quite get everything they were doing when I saw them, but they really did sound great

They are incredible. Absotutely incredible, and I have my tickets to see them in August.

Maynard is quite possibly the greatest musical talent on the planet right now ( yes, my Tool bias is showing)

I've seen Tool twice and both times they sucked. The first time they had technical problems up the wazoo and the second time they weren't playing for ****, and it's not like their music is very complicated. I'm going to see them again in august. I hope the shows I have seen were just flukes....

Uhh... you ever try to play any Tool? Their songs are very complicated... polyrythems everywhere, not to mention the "odd instrument" sounds/effects they use.

I guess thru technical areas there are "more complicated" bands, but still, they're up there..
