|  Oh the joys of new music... I've started listening to quite a good deal of new bands lately. Low, Appleseed Cast, And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead, Unwound, Modest Mouse, God Speed You Black Emperor, the flaming lips, Spiritualized ( spiritualized is quite possibly *the* pot band, by the way). In the 6 weeks I've been listening to the appleseed cast, they have jumped to my number two favorite band of all time, after tool ( by the way, no they sound nothing alike). Modest Mouse too, has greatly impressed me. right now I'd probably have to say favorite bands list goes something like this. 1. Tool 2. Appleseed Cast 3. Smashing Pumpkins 4. Modest Mouse/Dream Theater ( tie) 5. And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead/Spiritualized (tie) |
