| Anybody else going to see The Who? It sucks that Entwistle just died, but it's cool that they're still doing the tour. I'm going to be seeing them at Deer Creek near Indianapolis Aug. 20. I'm also planning on seeing Rush at Deer Creek around Aug. 9th. And Peter Frampton is going to be at the local county fair this year. Yay for music! ~Dizzy

| there's a thread on entwhistle's death, but not one actually about the who themselves, so I don't have a problem with this thread You know, I've actually heard some damn good things from some other folks about this tour. But think about, playing is how roger and pete cope with this stuff. Same reason they didn't stop when Moon died. But supposedly they're both real fired up. Tickets are way too expensive for me though, so I won't be attending.

| I would like to see The Who live, but ticket prices are a joke. The cheapest seats (in the nose bleed section) are $55. Who wants to see a concert in an arena too? I love their music, but they are old, greedy bastards. |

| Ohh man!! I saw the Who on the 31 of July on their opening nite in NYC!! It was most def. one of the best shows I've seen in my life!!! 60 year old dudes rockin out like they were 20! It was just awesome. Tix were steep though, it was like 118 for me and my buds on the floor of MSG, but it was soo worth it. Sucks about Entwistle, and I bought tix before he passed, but they had this awesome tribute to him at the end. I mean, I wasn't even norn back when they were at their heyday, but I think now, they're just as good as they were back in the day!! Def. worth it man!!!!

| I only paid $35 for a lawn seat ticket at Ticketmaster. The pavilion seats are probably a lot more, but $35 isn't that bad. I just saw Rush at the same place a couple Friday's ago and if you're at the front of the lawn it's a very good concert. We're gonna spend the day in Indy with one of our friends and then we're going to the concert. If you're ever in Indy you check the Broad Ripple section of town. ~Dizzy |

| The Who rocked and so did Robert Plant. Plant played some really good stuff of his own and a couple memorable Zeppelin tunes. The Who really put on an excellent show. I got to smoke a J in the middle of the crowd and I kept getting whiffs of it in the air. Definitely a memorable show. Being in the crowd and singing along to "Teenage Wasteland" was the highlight of the evening, I do believe. They finished off the night with an encore in which they played 4 songs from Tommy. Oh yeah, Pete Townsend and Roger Daltry are both ****ing incredible. ~Dizzy |
