Default Nappy Roots

This is the second rap group that i can and like to listen, the other one is outkast. Which makes a lot of sence too me since they are both southern rap groups, none of that gangasta crap about beating up ho's and what not.

This group got some really nice melodies and lyrics the beats are diferent from your usual rap, just like outkast.

Anybody likes'em? Im pretty sure you guys know a lot more about them than i do. Been listening to their watermelon, chicken, and grits for about 5 days now

So what do you guys make of them? And does anybody know any other groups like this one?

Later dudes...

I love their music.
Po' Folk reminds me of my childhood.

Pac's new album is alot like theirs.
"MY BLOCK" is gonna be the Changes of 2002.

If people would listen to his words instead of lookin at his image you'd see he was the most brilliantly hidden artist of perhaps all time.

Yea, for some reason there are plenty of ways to get albums....my friend is a DJ, and he gets stuff mailed to his office a LONG time before it is released....he used to copy it and sell it for 4 bucks a piece and make a killing.....I remember when the last Eminem came out he made a killing...

I dunno. Nothing against Nappy Roots themselves, but that damn 'Aw Naw' song is all over the place, and to be perfectly honest, it's pissing me off.

But who knows, that happens often with groups like that. Hopefully they won't get to the Nelly-status of popularity, but I'm interested to see what else they can put out.
