I just got a 10gig ipod for christmas, its the coolest thing i have ever owned. In like 25 minutes i put on every zeppelin album, all my hendrix, floyd, buckley, stones ****ing everything. Its incredible, if anyone has extra cash and you love music i would highly reccomend one.

I wouldnt mind getting one of those harddrive type things, except the cost and they have waaaayy too much space. 10 gigs would fit 10 times what music I listen to Sounds sweet though, I got a minidisc for christmas, its slower for transfering but I still like it.

agreed the cost is a lot. But, it is deffinetly worth it, i have so much music that for me its worth it, 10gigs doesnt even fit all my music, but yah if you dont have too much it isnt neccessary.

I got the 20 gig version for my birthday on the 19th, but realized I needed a firewire card to use it after I opened it. I got a firewire card for christmas but i still haven't installed it. Still, it looks great.

I just bought myself an archos multimedia. This little gadget is great. It serves as:

-20 gig portable hard drive
-mp3 player
-video camera
-2 megapixel digital camera
-portable movie player (via little LCD screen)
-VCR (comes with S-video cable)

I got it for only $300 (lists at a whole lot higher)
