Ok so Im watching a tv program that my local radio station has...

And apperantly there is a large law suit that all the major record companys have..

Basically all you do is go to this web site and say you bought a CD with in the last five yrs. and they will send you 20 dollars.

20 dollars not bad, with another 10 I could buy a half.. hehe

Sounds phishy, but I filled out the form anyway and hoped for the best.

What the hell is the lawsuit about anyway? I never heard anything like that before.

There's more to it than that if you read what it said on the site. It said its estimated that you will receive anywhere from $5-$20, perhaps even less. So you definitely won't recieve $20 for sure. Also if they decide to give you less than $5, they will just give the money to a musical charity.

I don't know this really doesn't make much sense, it didn't really state why a lawsuit was going on.

I started to fill out the form but I stopped when they asked me for the last 4 digits of my s.s #

I no its only 4 digits but it's 4 digits to much.
