Default Japanese music

I know I am probably going to flamed for this... But is anyone here as interested in Japanese culture as me?

Well anyway, if not does anyone listen to Japanese music?

and some people make the misconception that J-Pop means Japanese pop music, but it means Japanese Popular music, which is just music that is popular in Japan right now.

Anyway, yeah people are going to think I am such a geek hehe...

How ever I have to highly recommend Japanese music as something to listen to when you are stoned, the Japanese language has an interesting sound to it, well to my ear anyway.

Depends what type of music you like to listen to when you are stoned...

If you prefer heavy metal, try X-Japan, Luna Sea and Dir en Grey.
There is an interesting metal group named Psycho le Cemu (I don't know why its named that) but this group is obviously inspired by Anime.

All of which can be found in abundance on any filesharing program.

If you are into rock, try Mr. Children, The Pillows (this is more like Punk) "Kuwata Keisuke" is like the "Elvis" of Japan.

If you are into Pop, try Ayumi Hamasaki, her best song is "Evolution". Utada Hikaru, is the most popular pop singer in Japan, she has some good songs, but I only recommend this if you actually like pop...

and if you don't really want to download any music, there is a good ShoutCAST radio station at www.japanaradio.com except they only play J- pop and Anime music... J-pop is not just Pop music, but any music that is popular in japan.

I personally would recommend X-Japan to anyone who wants to try and listen to some Japanese music.

Not anymore, but I used to be.

I used to really like Utada Hikaru, Nami Amuro, Megumi Hayashibara (for her anime songs), Hamasaki Ayumi, and some Every Little thing..

I dont think i have a lot of them now.. but at one point i had all of their albums, and music videos, and such..

I have a bit of Japanese music. I don't know what the hell they're saying, but I like it

Actually, that's a bit of why I like it. I can listen to it and not get too wrapped up in the words, letting me concentrate on other things.

A couple years ago i listened to a lot of Pizzicato 5 but it got boring quickly. Other than that i`ve hear Guitar Wolf, Yellow Machinegun and some others.
