|  Weed change taste in music? Anyone notice that their taste in music changed dramatically since they started smoking weed? I used to listen to all that commercial rap and stuff, then I started smokin weed and now I like all kinds of music from underground rap to the doors. YES! My 301st post! Finally I have my avatar

| yeah... i used to listen to real punk. anti-flag, rancid, black-flag, sex pistols. all that stuff. now i listen to it sometimes, but mostly phish, grateful dead, string cheese incident, bob marley. its weird. their like, opposite styles of music. i guess i just started appreciating real music more...

| I listen to punk a lot, but when im stoned. i like to listen to anything with a good beat, usually mellow tunes or something with heavy bass, the kind of music that just gets ur head bobbing and just chill...

| I'm all about Creedence and The Band (to name a few) and ever since the summer I now listen to (eek) trance music when I am high. My friend got me hooked... it makes for a nice experience  But I think it sucks when I am sober |

| That's a choice avatar if I ever saw one, Bowlblaze.  Yeah, my music taste has changed, for the good of course. About 3 years ago I used to listen to a lot of heavy metal. For Example the Deftones, Staind (first album), KoRn (first 2 albums), and Incubus. 3 years later I am into a lot of classic rock, I always have been though. I also listen to jam bands (if that's what you want to call it) a lot more frequently now. My favorite bands now are (In no particular order): Phish, Rush, Grateful Dead, Incubus, the Deftones, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, and Built to Spill. I think one reason for the change was how Korn, Staind, and some other commercial metal bands I liked turned really bad.  Maybe it was just the ganja. |

| yeah i went from the new mainstream rock alternitive. to the old stuff doors, ccr, beatles. etc.

| My roots in music have definitely changed since I started smoking pot. I used to listen to everything Much Music shoved down my throat. Now I listen to what I consider the best music in the world. Phish, Grateful Dead, Neil Young, SCI, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, the Doors, CCR etc. and Bob Dylan. I've even started converting my friends over to the wonders of "stoner" music.

| i used to listen to a lot of hard and alternative rock before i smoked weed. i wuz a big time punk. but now i like hip-hop/jungle music, and TECHNO itz not only great music, but great exercise too! drum n bass, house, progressive, trance, eurodance itz all great and i love raving  hard to even believe i was into all that rock for such a long time

| sounds like your all jus gettin older you guys all seem 2 have started off with music for youngsters and gone on to more mature music. i still listen 2 punk rock nearly all the time, with some soft rock and jungle, but im 16. maybe most people jus start smokin ganja when theyre around that age when punk gets boring and you stop wanting to rebel. either that or ive gotta stop smokin ganja before i start breakin out my dads old dead and jethro vinly and boogyin on down. is 13 too early to start smokin?
