I went to see the Rolling Stones in September of 02 at Giants Stadium. Me and my friend drank a lot before we got there, but never planned on smoking. As soon as we got to our seats, we each pulled out a cigarette, and the people behind us (a family-WTF??) started yelling at us. A few minute later, a guy sitting next to use, pulled out a blunt, and shared it with us and those squares behind us didn't say sh*t! Anyway, me and my friend bought this guy a beer, and he gave us another blunt to smoke. It was a great time!! We finished the second blunt, when they started playing "Sympathy for the Devil". It was phat to watch Mick Jagger singing that song while wearin a long red jacket (with flames shooting out of the stage), while we were so baked! I was so high, I truely thought he was the devil! Great timess.

I also saw Ziggy Marley in concert in Jamaica (Spring Breack 2000). I don't think I need to get into what happened there.

IT HAS BEEN MY EXPERIENCE THAT MOST PLACES SEARCH YOU 1)WITH METAL DETECTORS (SMALL HAND-HELD-WANDS)
2) MOST PLACES PAT YOU DOWN AT LEAST, AND WANT YOU TO REMOVE ANY BULKY ITEMS EG. CAMERA, DOOBAGE, SNACKS, ETC.

SO I HAVE ALWAYS ROLLED MY 1/4-1/2 OUNCE OF SMOKE INTO JOINTS THAT FIT INSIDE A CIGARETTE PACK. VERY RARELY DO THEY INSPECT YOUR CIGS, BUT IF THEY DO, THEN LOOK AHEAD TO SEE WHAT EVERYONE IS DOING (IF THEY SEARCH THE PEOPLE AHEAD OF YOU FOR DOPE IN THEIR CIGS, THEN YOU MAY WANT TO STUFF THEM IN A SECURE, OUT OF SIGHT AREA, LIKE WAISTBAND, UNDER NUT SACK, IN YOUR SOCK OR SHOES) USUALLY I GET BY WITH JUST ROLLING IT UP AND MIXING IT IN WITH MY MARLBORO REDS IN A BOX. PUTTING ANYTHING UP YOUR RECTUM IS OUT OF THE QUESTION FOR ME, FORGET THAT! IT IS NOT NECCESSARY, TRUST ME. THIS IS A CONCERT FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE, NOT A UNITED NATIONS MEETING. IF YOU TRAVEL WITH PEOPLE TO THE CONCERT, DIVIDE UP THE SMOKE EVENLY, SO IF ANYONE GETS CAUGHT WITH THEIRS, ALL YOUR EGGS ARE NOT IN ONE BASKET, SO TO SPEAK. I HAVE GOTTEN CAUGHT BEGORE, BUT THEY JUST PASS ME ON THROUGH, HELL IT IS A CONCERT THAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT, AGAIN. GOOD LUCK, AND DON'T WORRY, THEY SMELL FEAR JUST AS A DOG DOES. ROLL IT UP, LIGHT IT UP, SMOKE IT UP! GET HIGH!

I am a concert FREAK!!
Ive seen too many bands to even recall them all without going over it for a long time and writing everything down.

Yeah, i do smoke at concerts if im not at the front of the mosh pit getting my ass kicked Im also a moshpit freak, ive been known to get t a venue at noon when the show doesnt start until 7 just to ensure my position at the front of the pit..
Now this can prove for some VERY interesting stories, and injuries as well, but hey its all worth it. and to look on the bright side, the pain of a few broken ribs doesnt hit you until your out of the pit... but on the cloudy side the pain that comes with cracking your jaw so hard on a bar that your spitting out chunks of your tooth comes fast and hard....ouch but at elast insurance covered that dental visit!
Ok, why do i like moshpits again?

YOU REMINDED ME TO MENTION THAT I HAVE PERSONOLLY BEEN TO OVER HUNDREDS OF CONCERTS IN MY LIFE, AND I KNOW WHICK I SPEAK OF. I USE TO BE LIKE YOU, BUT YOU DO GET WORN OUT BY ALL OF THE ABUSE AFTER A WHILE IN THE PIT. I DO LOVE THE EXCITEMENT, THE RELEASE, THE ACTION, THE LOVE OF IT ALL, IT IS REALLY AN ADRENALINE PUMPER, FOR SURE! SOUNDS AS IF YOU WOULD BE FUN TO TANGLE WITH IN THE PIT, GO UP STRONG, OR DON'T GO UP AT ALL. OH YEAH, NOT HAVING ANY MEDICAL INSURANCE REALLY PUT A DAMPER ON MY MOSHING ALSO. DEDICATED, GETTING TO THE SHOW AT NOON, EVEN FOR A SEVEN PM SHOW! WOW! YOU GO! NOW GET IN THE PIT AND TRY TO LOVE SOMEONE!

yeah, my motto is go hard or go home
but i know what ya mean about getting a little worn out from the pits...they can be quite tiring! last time i went to a show i tried to stay out of the pit....i really did! but damn, everyone just looked like they were having too much fun and i had to join in. that adrenaline rush is addicting
But when im in a pit im not one of those rough ppl that just hits ppl and runs into ppl for the fun of it, i just like to do the general moshing thing and hold on to the bar at the front for dear life Its funny tho cuz before shows i always make friends with all the peaople around me in the mosh as we are waiting for the show to start, and the security gaurds are usually really cool, always think that cuz my friends and i are girls that were gonna need extra protection or soemthing haha, same with all the macho guys around us, but hey, it never hurts to have really big guys on your side when your in a mosh pit! ive had them save my ass a time or 2.

I just walked into the garden with my bud and rolled j's during the show. Everyone knows that you can't stop people from smoking at shows, at most places they just dont try.

not ripping heads off. i re-read my earlier posting, and i did sound as if i was just out their for the thrashing, but i really dig it because you accept what may happen before it happens, and you hope it happens, but you really don't want it to. broken noses, cracked ribs, etc. i enjoy feeding off the energy of those around you in the pit, it is almost like a shark feeding frenzy. people act so different in a large crowd, or with all their friends around. the mosh pit should have a documentary made about it, like the beginning of moshing, and what it has evolved into. like- "MOSHING, FROM THE BEGINNING TO PRESENT". that would be cool. i bet it would be a big hit. hell i might even consider doing it myself, it would be a great way into a lot of concerts, and i could meet a ton of people. now ya got me thinking! take care and rock on!
