Every year i attend an annual concert called big day out, i tours in auckland, new zealand and then to certain parts of Australia.
This year was a bit different

Whenever i smoke weed i always put music, its almost compulsory whenever i smoke, it makes the music more enjoyable
and my music interest are everything from portishead to tool.
Deftones are one of my favourite bands at da mo, and i nearly choked when i heard they would attend this years tour.

My plan was to sit out of the mosh but close in the stands, so i could see clearly and enjoy the music, instead of the hassles of mosh pits.

What did happen? well, wat do you know....im right up da front, leaning on the barrier comfortable as, and 10 minutes before the start playing they guy next to me pulls out a fat joint, and we smoked it right there. The deftones came on and played a wicked set, its made the high so intense, seeing my fav band live..it was totally amazing.

Big day out has been my acsess to heaps of overseas acts.

yah.. 2002 Warped Tour. Before me and my friend got in, we both got stoned.. and i brought in a little weed in my wallet. then like before and during a reggae band played, me and my friend smoked the weed we had and there was lot of ppl around us smoking. I want to go to the Up In Smoke, but hafta to be 18... im only 17...

I have been to A LOT of concerts over the past few years, a lot of interesting stories to tell. So I'll just tell you about one of them.


It was during the summer of 2000 and my favorite band at the time, the Deftones, were playing at a medium sized venue. It was general admission, so the earlier you got there, the more likely you would be on the floor. We got there about 2 in the afternoon and snuck in line next to my other friends who have been there since noon.

We wait and wait all day in the hot, humid weather just to get on the floor. Then as the doors almost open, some dickhead security gaurd told us that he didn't remember seeing us here earlier in the day, so he told us to go to the BACK of the line. Which was like a mile away from where we were. So we had no choice but to walk to the back of the line.

As soon as we saw how big the line was, we said forget this. We aren't going to bossed around by some fat moron who's on a powertrip. So we sneak back in line next to my friends and duck down everytime that security gaurd walked by.

A few minutes later, and the doors open. Luckily, we were just some of the small amounts of people that were let in on the floor. We were like in the first and second row standing.

So the deftones come on and just rock out. It was so intense having the band playing right in front me and the crowd going ballastic.

No here comes the best part. After the part in 7 words where Chino says "Shutup you don't know me... etc." Chino gets on top of the HUGE speaker and stage dives right on my face right during the heaviest part in the song.

All I remember is seeing his sweaty red shirt coming straight towards me and then knocking me on the ground. I got back up and went nuts.

There's a lot more to tell, but I'm too lazy to type it all. That had to have been one of the greatest concerts I have ever been to.

i went and seen kid rock twice this past summer.....both times we were high as hell, all the way there all the way back and during the show, we smoked so much i damn near fell asleep during the show, it was the best time i had in the longest.....

fourth row, center stage. the best seats that i could get were 16 th row, center stage, on the floor. so i took them and went to the show. i did manage to log onto a ticket-selling-website and noticed that the show had a few killer seats left for the highest bidder. so i checked on those seats (four, center stage, fourth row, directly in front of kid rock 85 percent of the time) and snagged them as soon as we got there (the wife and i). nobody ever bothered us the entire evening, and i ended up being directly beside this security gaurd all nite long, and i fired up over a quarter of an ounce that evening in phat-joints. kid rock did look down on me a few times with envy filled eyes. could tell he wanted to take a few hits, i don't know whatever stopped him from sharing a toke, hell i am not stingy! killer buds, killer show, killer music! good time, one i will not soon forget. that kid rock sang his face off! music opens the soul in a way little esle does, but combine music with some killer bud, and you have new doors of perception.

I smoked at a WideSpread Panic concert with my dad. That was quite an episode.

smoking at concerts is incredible. I had a great 1/8 to myself at phish on new years at msg. It was incredible, i had such a great time.

i have never smoked at a concert, but i'm hoping to pop that cherry when i go see zwan in orlando on 4/8. I dont think there are many potheads at a zwan concert, so i'm gonna have to be representing. My friend is getting deftone tickets for july, i'm gonna try and get baked there, but that show is gonna deserve a blunt, not a joint.

i love concerts, not only for the music but smoking in there is a big part of going to a show...how did all of you guys bring in your herbs?....i had to double baggy my 1/4ounce and shove it where entry is not permited .....and then i have to find a spot for my piece....i cant wait till i go to my next show.
