Default Mathew Good Band

anybody here listen to the Matt Good Band...or just Matt Good now I guess?
I doubt many Americans know of him since hes not too big down there at all, but hes pretty big here in Canada. I think his stuff is awesome, too bad the band split up, but its good that hes putting stuff out on his own.
I cant wait for his new cd Avalanche, the first two singles Weapon and A world called castatrophe are simply awesome.

If you like Matt Good, then you should listen to Flash dance 2 when youre stoned, its awesome. The bass is amazing and its just a great song in general, I recommend even if youre not stoned.

It came out a couple years ago on a B Sides cd or something...I know the cd only had like 6-8 songs and it was the only single. I forget the name of it, but I know it was produced in limited quantities I think.
They are playing 3 shows here in Vancouver in the next couple of weeks, I wish I was going

I liked their old stuff a little, but now I can't stand him. I heard he's an asshole too.

Check out Build your cages by Pulse Ultra. I went to see them in Montreal on the 7th. They're sooo great. check them out.

They're only my favourite band I thaught Underdogs was amazing.

The "new" band is Matt himself and Rich Priske (sp?) who is the same bassist from the last 2 albums. The new drummer used to play with the Odds. I don't know where the new guitarist came from.

Flashdance II was on "Lo-fi B sides". It was a free album to go with Underdogs but they only made 35,000 copies or something. Damned things go for hundreds on Ebay (or so I've heard).

The "asshole" thing isn't what the media made it. The band made fun of it with one of their videos and a T-shirt campaign.

I've seen him about 3 times now, twice with press passes...

I've had the good fortune of seeing tons of Canadian bands when they were small. I used to go to all the local club shows, and it was a great chance to see up and coming bands.

Treble Charger played at a piece of **** bar nearby, it's actually in a frickin basement. People doing all sorts of ****ed up things in the can. Saw them there many years ago, nobody had a clue who they were, so me and my buddy talked to them for a helluva long time afterwards.

Our Lady Peace was practically based out of my city, I know the bassists parents, and I've seen them way too many times. CD release party one year too.

The Rainbow Butt Monkeys, AKA Finger Eleven, played in a school gym one year. That was kind of strange, especially seeing them at larger venues later.
