| Anyone else into Irish folk music? It's absolutely beautiful stuff, some of the most emotionally charged music I've ever heard. The Chieftains are one of the more popular "mainstream" groups. They've performed with Bob and Ziggy Marley, as well as scores of other artists around the world. I had the pleasure of seeing them live in Ann Arbor last year and they were breathtaking, the whole auditorium was standing, dancing, or clapping furiously the whole time. If you wanna hear what an Irish/Reggae hybrid song sounds like, download Redepmtion Song by the Chieftains and Ziggy Marley. |

| Oh yeah. I also like the Pogues, though that's not folk music. One of my favorite Chieftans' songs would have to be Mo Ghile Mear.
