I just picked up Cash's new album, The Man Comes Around, and I am at a loss for words. A breathtaking meditation on mortality by an artist with the life experience to back up his lyrics (or, at least, present someone else's with a great deal more relevance..... *eyeing trent reznor contemptuously*....) Also goes to show that real country doesn't need make-up, laser light shows, pyro-technics, or leopard print mini-skirts to be effective (ugh); the lone cowboy and his guitar are more than enough

I want that album, I never have any money though. I like the solitary american album. But more covers than I wanted.

Trent Reznor actually loves "hurt" by johnny cash. He said it made him cry to see the video. That's the wierdest thing to hear from him..and when it's on CMT.

And cradle of filth isn't bad. Sometimes they get on my nerves. But good music still.
