| I was wondering if anyone knows the correct pronunciation of the song "Bron-Yr-Aur". Is it like brawn-eer-or, or brawn-why-hour, or something else? Also if anyone knows where the title came from it would be very helpful. I understand this is a strange question, but I'm playing the song at an upcoming Zeppelin tribute and I don't want to say it wrong! Thanks! |

| Yes, it is scandenavian or norwegian or whatnot - the members of zeppelin, specially plant, were big into northern mythology. They had a lot of references to it like in the immigrant song (the first line, actually) is "I come from teh land of the ice and snow and the midnight sun *something about heartstrings, and then about sailing ships to new lands (vikings etc.)* they also did this with Dyer-Maker (pronounced Jurmocker - as in "your" with a "j" sound instead of y sound, and "maker" as in someone who mocks people) sounds like "Jamaica", and since its a reaggaeish song people actaully believe it is called jamaica. whatever hope that helps in the future, with other odd zepp titles
