Default The Expendables - Reggae, Surf, Rock, Punk

If anyone on these boards likes to listen to Dub/Reggae music, The Expendables are an amazing band from Santa Cruz, California.

Please take 10 minutes out of your day to listen to these 3 songs on that website, if not that, than just one of them. (If you had to go with one, id say Full of Fight, but Newbee's Dub is a nice blend of Surf-rock and Dub/Reggae). Some of their songs (although not the ones posted on this site) have brilliantly infused Punkrock in parts of the song (I'm not really a fan of punk, but when these guys do it, it blows me away.)

These guys deserve a lot more respect than they get. If you happen to live in the San Francisco Bay Area or Santa Cruz area, go check out one of their shows, because thats where they shine most. Words escape me in trying to describe what it's like seeing them in concert.

To all the people that actually do take a couple minutes from their day to check these guys out: Thanks.

Finally, heres a short paragraph description of the band from mp3.com:
The Expendables are an up-and-coming band from Santa Cruz, CA. Their original music is a blend of Rock, Reggae, Ska, and Surf. Musical Inspirations are from Dick Dale, Sublime, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Slightly Stoopid, Steel Pulse, numerous butt rock bands, and other various artists. Three guitars, bass, and drums make up the quintet that is the Expendables.

By the way, they all love weed as well.

If you do happen to like these guys and want more, you can find a few more songs on KaZaA, but after that, if you want to get one of their albums, they can be ordered off of their website (theexpendables.net). Those 2 CD's are one of the best ones I own.
