Heh, this is a funny story... It happened about 3-4 months ago, but it still seems like yesterday...

So me & one of my buddies are just getting drunk in our rooms at res (at uni) one night and playing some computer games, watching some episodes of South Park & Family Guy, the usual sort of thing when we're bored... So after a few hours, we run out of beer, but we're drunk, so its all good... A few more hours, and now its like 2AM and we're getting pretty much sober again... We decide we're gonna go out for a toke... Well, we end up smoking two huge fatties (of prime Northern Lights, none the less) between the two of us, and with the bit of booze still in our system we were righteously ****ed up! So we come back to res, and we're like wandering around aimlessly down in the main lobby type area, near where the cafeteria is, even though the caf is obviously closed at 3AM! One of our good chick friends sees us and walks back upstairs to our rooms with us, b/c we're so out of it we have no idea what we're doing it, and we go to my buds room and he has this huge stereo, 5 speakers and a 12-inch sub in a small dorm room, and me & the chick sit on the bed and he's at the computer, opening up winamp... and he turns to her with this super-serious (but super-stoned) expression on his face, and is like, "Do you like trance music?" all cool & calm like... And she's like, "Um, not really..." (which we knew of course) and then he hits play and just absolutely rocks the whole building with this big-assed pimping trance track, it was soo hillarious and sweet... I think we got like 4 noise complaints because of it though!

Anyways, just thought i'd relay that... Anyone else hear like trance, or house? If so, great tracks when you're stoned are:

I enjoy trance and whatnot, definately. It's been awhile since I've really listened to any lately. Think I may just break out the playlist now that I think of it =). Will edit this post with some good songs once I break them out again.

I have a story. The day after I first tried pot, I smoked up one of my friends. We smoked in a forest, then went back to his place. My effects seemed stronger (I got REALLY stoned the night before) the whole time. So we go up to his room. He's big on techno, and he has all these lights and a fog machine. He fogged up his room, turned on trance, and had a disco ball and all kinda lights going (strobe too ) so then, I'm lying on the ground looking up at these lights. The discoball was like a center thing, and all around it was space. Little things were flocking by the thousands to the discoball. It was like a giant planet with infinite gravitational pull. So all these space invaders were floating down to this planet. I looked to the other side and saw some VERY strange things in the light. When they changed they just seemed to morph instead of changing immediately. Here is what I saw, in the order I saw them (these were lights set off by the disco ball):

Blanca (from Street Fighter)
Harry Truman
Hitler
Truman
A native American
A tiki head thing
The Indian again
The tiki guy, now looking more like Olmec from Legends of the Hidden Temple
Rounded head tiki
A fish made of stone (the kind of ancient charm type things you see; very simple)
The Indian again (looking mean and having a bigger nose).

That was a very trippy time. I loved it though. Time just dissapeared and ALL focus was set on that universe that was in front of me. I was in space, staring into a planet pulling in all life around me. They were moving at different speeds, and it felt so real...

I listen to Beatles, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, and nothing has done more for me than trance. I'm listening to some now. LOVE IT!
