Anyone listen to opeth? an amazing band. they are metal, but they are very different. there music is very orriginal and unexpected. they even made an entire clean album, very awesome. Its called damnation and i would recomend downloading a song or 2 of the album and listening to it blazed.

Opeth is awesome =). Blackwater Park is a great song. 5 minute mark = Whee! Some good stuff they have =).

thanks for the heads up! pretty good band! probably great for when i just want to sit back and enjoy my high.....

i also discovered the band "Dashboard Confessional" the other day... you guys probably heard of them/him? its really good music to relax to...

Rebot- If you like to listen to metal to relax, then definately Opeth is good ). Along with Tool, always enjoy listening to them, aswell.

As for Dashboard Confessionals, they are "emo", no? Not sure, I know I've heard them/of them before, but can't put my finger on it.

Along the lines of what I guess you could consider emo, Thursday isn't too bad at all. The entire Full Collapse CD is good. A good idea of them would be the songs "Paris in Flames" and "Cross out the Eyes". First two songs I heard of 'em.

Opeth are absolutely amazing in every musical aspect. I wasn't incredibly impressed with Deliverance, mind you, its still a masterpiece.

For any of you with an open mind, and can tough out some strong, heavy, powerful metal, I strongly advise that you give Opeth a serious listen.

Beautiful death metal.

Thanks man. I find it easy to talk about such a good thing. And I'm kinda drunk right now to boot. Unfortunately, not stoned at all. I'm out of the green goodness at the moment, but none of you worry. I'll be stocked and ready to go very, very soon.
