Here's a question for you guys. For those of you who don't know about the big concert coming up, well, come out from under that rock.

Anyways what i am wondering is that with the new found freedom we seem to have here in Toronto, and with the huge Stones, AC/DC, Guess Who, Rush etc concert at downsview park (which i just got my tickets for), are they going to be confiscating mj? Should i take my time and hide what i plan on bringing in? I hope they don't plan on searching 300, 000 people.

I'm not sure that they'd confiscate it, but I think it'd be better to try and hide it just in case anyways.

On a side note, where did you pick up your tickets? I heard dominion & ticketmaster, but i don't know yet. also, how much are they?

cool ... ticketmaster.ca is sold out ... however you can get them at dominion, A &P (and a couple other grocery stores...) on friday. Or you can get them online at ticketmaster.com ... it would be in U.S. funds.

Just how much weed are you planning to bring?

I'm sure that if you roll a bunch of joints, 5 or so, and put them in something then you won't have any problem. I'd just tape them to my leg or something, head inside and put them in my pocket... err, smoke them I mean. Heh.

I hope you have a wicked time, dude. I want to go to see Rush. They're rad. Ah well.

They're planning on up to 600 000 people at the show, I think weed is going to be the least of their concerns. I brought some into the amphitheatre last weekend, no problems at all. And ironically enough, a bike cop that came by our car told us to hide the bubba, but said nothing about the joint we were smoking!

Almost everyone I know is going, I'm getting tickets tommorrow, if you plan on buying within the week, you shouldn't have a problem. I'm ticked that it was touted as a "free" show, but 21 bucks isn't exactly much for those bands.

yah for sure ... buy them this week ... as in tomorrow when they go on sale at the grocery stores and you'll be fine.

yah i have no problem paying $21 for this kind of show ... it is going to be massive ... well worth the price ... however the overcrowding that is going to happen will ruin it slightly. Heck if there weren't 300 000 + people I would suggest a meeting with some of the poeple on here, as it would be cool to put faces to some of the screen names ... however i don't think that would happen as it will be quite busy ... let me know if anyone else is up for it. Security is a concern as well though ... but i don't think anyone should be that worried anymore .. atleast not in ontario.

Larmar's words have probably put some of your fear to rest. I just wouldn't want to bugger around with a pipe and stuff. Joints are definitly the way to go. Have fun and make sure to smoke lots.

Well ... what else am I going to have to do while Justin Timberlake is on. I can think of only one other thing to waste that time with, and that's a large #2 to piss off the Idomo guy (those from Toronto will know what i'm talking about...).

ROFL yeah i contributed to the idomo disaster.. I was at WYD, and the bathrooms were a MESS, so zero, brace yourself.. It's probably gonna be worse, with around 3x more people being expected to show up.

And there's three things i'm gonna do when i see Justin Timberlake

- Take my water bottle and add cement, and chuck it at his nasty ass
