| Don't get me wrong, I am in no way dising Led Zeppelin, its some of my favorite music in the world to get lost to...but have you ever realized how deppressing the lyrics are...even the music sometimes, but its awesome. Wonder if Jimmy Page and Plant lived such a dark dreadful time...Zeppelin lives!

| On the other hand, The Beatles have sad lyrics sometimes, but none of their songs are sad really (except "Yesterday). PF isn't all that depressing... I think LZ is more depressing (most of the time). Maybe we should get the remaining members of each and study them to see who is saaaaadder!

| Of course Zeppelin have some depressing lyrics, but who doesn't? Every band has lyrics relating to good times, bad times. (no pun intended . "Zeppelin Ruuuuuuuuuuule" - Otto |

| Maybe I'm just more into dark stuff, but really.... I don't find LZ depressing in the least. And maybe PF got a bit more somber, but that's far from the dark music I listen to. Check out some Joy Division albums,, or The Cures Pornography or Faith,, or try some Art Bears,, or maybe The Residents Gingerbreadman. I could go on, but there's probably not many other people around here who collect really really dark depressing music; but those are the "low-points" that immediatly came to mind, other than my own low-stuff which isn't readily available.

| No one better than Zeppelin and Floyd. Except maybe The Doors. Actually they're all even. ![]()
