is anyone here a fan of matt good, or the matthew good band? if not i strongly recommend it. his voice is amazing, and the music is perfect. the new cd is called avalanche.

its not matthew good band. They split up awhile back, its just matt good now. Everything from weapon on is just matt good.

Anyways, I love Matt Good.

You're right....

I met him last year, when I had a press pass at a local show, and he would barely give me and the guy I was with the time of day. And we were there with a radio station!

Dunno, his music does sound really, uhhhh, similar, but the new CD is pretty decent. The first was the best though, what the hell was it, Beautiful Midnight? Or was that the second? Either way, that one was good....

Larmer, the first MGB cd is called the last of the ghetto astronauts (sp?) which is virtually unknown, then there is underdogs which is probably the one you are thinking of with everything is automatic, rico etc, then came beautiful midnight....so on and so forth

and that is funny that he was an a-hole to you, because i have met the guy twice, one when i was 16, and me and 2 friends snuck into the back door of the backalley in Calgary while they were doing a sound check for a show they were playing that night. Well, right away we asked matt if we could stick around cuz we were too young to get into the show later, and he was really cool with it, and made sure we were comfortable and everything.
the next encounter was in my town when MGB came here to play a few years ago, and me and a buddy went to go smoke a joint around the back of the building ( we were waiting in line for general seating) and low and behold matt good himself is standing out there doing what, im not to sure but we talked with him and really had an awesome conversasion....he is not an a-hole
maybe its a good thing he didnt give you the time of day ESPECIALLY because you were from the radio station and obviously know nothing about the band....
