elbow is my favorite band ever to listen to while stoned, especially if you like to sit or lay down and just mellow out. the music is like a breeze blowing you around, and his voice is like electricity running through your veins. i absolutely LOVE it

if you want to check them out, i strongly suggest the songs "fugitive motel" or "ribcage" off their newest cd, "cast of thousands," although every song from that cd is incredible.

download it and give it a listen if you like slow/melodic/intelligent music

The only 'beautiful' music that I know of would have to be Led Zeppelin - Over The Hills and Far Away, and J. Mascis and the Fog - Ammaring.

But I still know what you're talking about. I can get totally mellow when I listen to music, it's awesome. Sometimes I totally over looked when I first started smoking. I can honestly say that it definitely lives up to it's hype.

Skater dusto: please say you're not serious when you say those are the only 'beautiful' songs...thats only 2 songs!!! If you really mean that, then I must say you have pretty narrow definition of the word 'beautiful.'
