I started watching music videos this morning and watched for about an hour during different parts of the day and I saw Jason Mraz's music video for The Remedy (I won't worry) at least four or five times. The decent thing is that the song isn't half bad.

Even though his hat cocked to the side the whole time thing could get annoying, the video is pretty good and the song at least has a pretty good meaning.

I also saw that Sheryl Crow (i think) "If it makes you happy" song many too many times. I kinda liked it when I was 12, but no, not now. This one band Monsoon 5 had a video that was alright but the song was pretty good, but I can't find it on kazaa.

At least I didn't see the Madonna video with the black jesus. wait, I did.

oh my god, jason mraz sucks! him and john mayer are just poppier versions of dave matthews band, he just dropped the band part, heh....

I think the band you are talking about is Maroon 5, not Monsoon 5. That's probably why you couldn't find it. The song you are talking about is probably "harder to breathe" which was an ok song, but now i'm getting sick of it.

My favorite video right now is "The Scientist" by Coldplay. That video is amazing!

I don't see how Jason Mraz could be a poppy version of DMB. They don't sound alike and have totally different styles.

Jason Mraz actually at first did remind me of Dave Matthews

I usually don't watch music videos, but since I am for the most part stranded in the basement they have been being watched. Sarai has a song named "Ladiez", and when listening to it I was rather surprised when I looked up and saw a blond girl that looked more like a pop star Britney Spears wanna be than a rapper. I must say, I had never seen a white rapper female before today, but hey, its not the strangest thing ever.

Mraz is good, Mayer sucks. DMB is amazing. Mraz has his good songs and his bad songs, he does an insane version of Elton John's Rocket Man. Mraz openly admits that the DMB are a huge influence of his. So it's not suprising that he does draw a little bit from their style. There's nothign that really makes Mraz anythign liek Dave except that he plays acoustic guitar and sings.

I'm gonan say again that the only reason that this comparison was even made was because they both play acoustic guitar and sing. pretty much every singer uses facial expressions when singing. Everyone just sees Mraz and Mayer as a wannabe dave. Although Mayer comes no where close to even deserving that title since he sucks. And Mraz although a gifter song writer has nothing in common other than an acoustic guitar and the fact that he played side stage at a few DMB shows.
