Did Bob Marley really die of cancer at the age of 36, or was he assinated by the CIA?

I read an old issue of High Times which had an article about this. They claim the cia may have had something to do with it. They also go into something where he went to Europe for treatment and the doctor who was treating him was a Nazi who worked in a death camp. It was from High Times so I don't know how accurate this is.

cristopher lowell.

Why would the CIA kill him?

He wasn't doing anything that would threaten the US or expose anything. All he did was unite the leaders of Jamaica

He died of skin cancer on his toe. He could have had treatment for it but he refused because it was against his Rastafarian religion.

Imagine how much more good music he would have put out.

It was his time. Nature took his toll, it was meant to be, in his eyes. He said what he wanted to say, and look at the positive impact it had on Jamaica and everyone else.

The CIA didn't like Bob Marley because they thought he was supporting Jamacian Prime Minister Michael Manley (whom they saw as a socialist- perhaps even communist). Most of the violence that occurred in Jamacia in the 70's stemmed from political rivalries between Manley's supporters and those of US-backed Edward Seaga.
