| All you stoners out there.. I am starting a list of good music you all like to listen when you're stoned: YES I AM STONED. WARNING CAUTION DIE TOMORROW. I love listening to: Van Morrison Pink Floyd Steely Dan CCR (if you don't know what CCR means, it wouldn't make anymore sense if I said Creedence Clearwater Revival.) And Bob Marley I am getting all these flashbacks from my childhood The good old days when I went fishing with my dad in his old truck. On the cold winter days, getting in all my gear, going to the corner store for worms and us heading out to the lake, freezing on the high way with my dog in the back. We got out into the forest and rounded that famous corner. We climbed around the mountain with our buddies Joey and Mike. Joey is mike's son. Then we'd all go fishing on the shore. Sometimes in teh summer my friend Jesse would take me to the lake with him (Tahoe Lake) and we'd go intertubing or water skiing. I remember once Jesse and I tried building a go kart Oh how I wish the good old days I'm blue because of this music but I love it. I am just lost in my old childhood that I wish I could go back to. my life will never be the same = Listen to Van Morrison =

| Van Morrison is great. Although Moondance has no sentimental value to me, it is still a very chilled, yet groovy song. I listened to it a few times yesterday actually, when I was slipping through the cd while learning Brown-Eyed Girl. However Pink Floyd is my favourite stoner music. If you put it on in the background while you're talking with buddies or something it kind of ruins it, I think Pink Floyd is a group that is best experienced alone. I watched this special on Darkside the other day on MMM, it was so cool. So many of the groups members said that they love to have space in their music. Instead of soloing for 2 bars they prefer to solo for 2 or 3 beats and leave the rest open. They encouraged this in all other musicians they worked with in the studio.

| Yeah, I definitely dig the Van Morrison. It's some very well-done and emotionally stimulating music. Some of my favorites are: And It Stoned Me (awesomely mellow) Days Like This (nice upbeat mellow song) Gloria (this song just great fun) I started listening not too long ago, and I'm a total fan now. Van Morrison knows music.

| I love Van Morrison. And Cat Stevens always goes well with him. May not be too similiar, but when I think of one, I think of the other. My uncle still has one of my morrison cd's. Thanks for the reminder to get it back ![]()
