WOW...A friend of mine got the "new"(?) Finch CD for Christmas, its called "What it is to burn," and we started listening to it last night. It's amazing stuff.

I had heard of the band a while before hearing the CD, but I'm definately now a fan. They're second on my list only to Incubus

They're kinda a Rock-Punk (more Rock though) sound with some pretty killer tunes.

As for as pop punk/emo/alt bands go, they're a cut above.

Emo? I dunno, it doesnt really seem like it...

Dashboard Confessional, the Get Up Kids, etc - thats more emo.

I dont even like emo, like those bands I just listed and a couple more I cant think of. So if Finch is somehow "Emo", then they've done something good enough to desguise it or make it tollerable.

Ehh, regardless...Still love it

Yeah, I saw Finch live about a year and a half ago and that album had just come out around then. If you like the CD wait until you see them live. I didn't really know much abou them until then, but i was amazed and can't wait to hear more from them. If you're interested check out their website www.finchmusic.com. Peace Out

Yeah they suck...

Had the CD then realized what kinda pop/rock/crap it is an sold it for $2.

The only good thing on that album is that Daryl Polumbo from Glassjaw is on a song. If you want good music go buy those Glassjaw albums...that's great stuff.

I think that cd has been out for a while now, I remember hearing letters to you sometime last year. I wouldnt pay money to see them live, or for the cd. I guess I never really liked them except for that one song.

they are in no way emo, just listen to the song project mayhem. Download some Horse the Band though, that ****s crazy. I think theres only a few songs on Kazaa but they are pretty cool, its nintendocore.
