Girlfriend bought me the New Korn Album

Im a fan, but ive never really been arsed to buy there album (always download there tracks)

But ive gotta say im enjoyin the album, and it goes well with smoking weed.....

I smoked a couple joints before i went home yesterday, and i was totally vibin with the music

I love listening to music when stoned....

This album introduced (or to me atleast) an annoying, almost emo-like scream, that showed up on quite a few songs. Gone are the days when Jon Davis sounded like he did on self-titled.

Now, I didn't buy this album. I downloaded it. I did like a few songs but most of the others were ruined by idiotic lyrics. Listen to some of the words in the songs, seriously. Davis was never known to write anything brilliant but I'd still say this album was a still a step back for him in that regard.


Don't get me wrong. I always have and always will be a Korn fan. I've just been a bit disappointed in their 3 latest releases.

Basically coolguy said it all, I bought untouchables and I only listen to like 5 songs on the whole album

I thought Untouchables was their pinnacle album masterpiece!! Issues comes in 2nd. But I noticed most people don't agree with me on that, & I didn't expect Korn to keep going in that direction because of the critisism...
Damnit!
And sure'nuff. The new one is everything Untouchables wasn't. Oh well.
First listen I was very disappointed & sad to see that little era of sound over.
But with subsequent plays it has grown on me some. It'll never be up there with Untouchables/Issues, but it's alright. Different, that's for sure.
I think it's grown on me enough to give it 3 outta 5 stars.
I was also very happy to see the Metallica cover from the VH1 thing hidden on there.
Excellent cover.

I only own a korn album because my ex accidentally lifted it from Sunrise (honestly, it was an accident!!!).

Just my 2 cents, I don't like 'em, rather see other bands waste bandwidth than them...

To be honest, i haven't heard it, and havent listened to korn in a while. Self titled was awesome, and I even had a soft spot for life is peachy, but like some other talented musicians out there these guys have sold out. I"m pissed that they were allowed to cover "one" as well

Ive been a Korn fan for many years. Seen them in concert three times. They are my favorite band. Follow the Leader is my favorite album, i loved life is peachy and self titled and issues was pretty good. Untouchables was the beggining of the end, it represented everything that Korn wasnt and Take a Look was even worse. Where did the awesome progressions go that lead to some sick ass hard beats. Now its just soft singing for the start of the song omg im so depresessed, SCREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM then back to soft sad singing blah blah blah SCREAAAAAAAAAAM some more. Its just sad. But they will always be my favorite band.
