I hate Robert Fripp as an individual, he is a pompous asshole whos ego outweighs many politicians and sports figures. BUT, he is a helluva guitarist and musician.

i used to hate king crimson because of fripp, then i gave them a chance, and they are a killer f-ing band man.

Ya... good band. I need to check out some of the more recent stuff one of these days.
But I've always been a huge fan of his "intense trio" period from the mid-70's.
Lark's Tongues in Aspic, Red, & Starless & Bible Black are 3 of my fave albums of all-time. Ya just can't do much better than those 3 albums.....

Sorry for the necro-post but I just had to say that I absolutely LOVE king crimson. I'm more of a fan of their early work though. Their first album is absolutely phenomenal, quite possibly my favorite album of all time.
