If you want a mind blowing experience Smoke And listen To "Divided Sky" by Phish, at one point i brake down into tears. Its such an amazing song

Wow, the chorus sucks ass, but the verses are really deep. His vocab and understanding of world issues is admirable in a rap artist...He's also fast--which isn't easy to do when freestyling.

What a sick song. I usually don't like rap, but I'll tell all my "peeps" about this one. I'll also start using words like peeps in quotes. I'll listen to the Phish song when this one is done.

Edit: Wow, what a mind**** that song was. I couldn't help but notice that the song sounded very Queenish. All those held high notes reminded me of Bohemian Rhapsody. Obviously that's not a negative. Great stuff.

sage francis is indie rap, artistic hip hop, trip hop, wutever it is it ISNT rap. and please... listen to more of him, and atmosphere, aesop rock, i could go on but i've listed these artists in a couple of threads now

I always end up throwing on Divided Sky when I'm on a certain off-topic or just when I'm chiefing a fat bowl or blunt, I have the 17 minute live version too so it's great for long tokes... Now I dont know about breaking down into tears Mulcahey... Another great song like that one is Fluff's Travels (11:00) I'm sure you already know about.

AustinJ is right about the category of Sage Francis, most abstract rap and real hip-hop is better than today's sh*t.
