Ok Im putting together a cd/playlist of some really awesome rock/metal loud ass songs. Some examples are "du hast" - rammestein and "millionare" - queens of the stonage. Add a little somethign if you can think of a song.

I'll recommend you check out A Perfect Circle for godness. Metallica for loudness. Umm, Black Sabbath, Juda's Preist, Iron Maiden, Motorhead. Check those out for loud rock.

Yea Ive heard most of those bands and I have most of their music. Im just looking for a certain sound thats hard to describe. Owell guess im on my own on this one.

Motorhead, Maiden, Dio(maybe), Iced Earth, slayer(best thrash band in the world!!), pantera(maybe some damageplan..like drummer and guitarist i think from pantera), childrem of bodom, tool, kiss.. that stuff is the good stuff. I've seen Motorhead, iron maiden, dio, slayer and damageplan live

If you're into death metal then maybe.. death?

If you're looking for loud, then Manowar(even though kind of gay in my opinion), and motorhead are the 2 loudest bands in the world, atleast live.

If you're more into the new type of stuff, then first off linkin park is not metal.. though I would add that. Mudvayne is pretty cool I guess.

Whatever grassy ass said is good. Just old metallica though, I would only reccomend songs before the black album. St. Anger should be shot.
