nah dude Ska is punk with trumpets and trombones and **** like that.voodoo glow skulls are pretty badass(and they live in my hometown, why they moved to this ****hole i dont know).anyways they trew a killer concert when they first got there on halloween.i tell you what,i been to a lotta concerts, and that one had the most energy ive ever seen.i think its cuz everyone was soo stoked about the band, and it was halloween, and it was cheap.heh was the 1st time i ever stage dived and crowd surfed(every other concert i been to always has a million guards up front).in fact at one point while i was gettin on stage, some dude pushed me up to get me up faster and i slammed right into one of the trumpeters, damn near knocked him over.dude has skills cuz he didnt even miss a beat.i then gave my props to the crowd and dove in.

Here are some real ska bands The Specials, The Toasters, Hepcat, the Scofflaws, Skavoovie and the Epitones, the Skatalites, and the Insteps, as opposed to trendy skapunk bands that will probably go Emo tomorrow.

I used to be a big fan of Mustard Plug 4-5 years ago. Last time I saw them was about 4 years ago, but they're coming to town soon with the "Ska is dead tour" I might have to check them out. I really dug the Blue Meanies when they were around, but sadly they are no more. Leftover crack/choking victim is amazing though. Their lyrics can be a bit extreme but they are a great band. Pretty damn interesting too how they used to live as squatters. Oh, and the Specials kick ass too
