Just like to say I totally agree with the dude up the top, who's favourite genre is IDM. How can you not love listening to it whilst stoned?

I noticed you all have a good taste in music with, of course, some exceptions...
I also have a few bands I love listening when stoned...

-SKA (any type of ska, it just makes me happy)
-System of a down (I love their weird riffs and sounds)
-Portishead (when I am very very stoned)
-Nirvana (although not anymore so much cause I've heard it all too much)
-Jefferson Airplane (calming music that's been made for (and by) drugs).

dubadelic - bass invaders (chilled-out electronic dub)
dj vadim - ussr repertoire (awesome instru-mental hip hop)
ltj bukem - journey inwards (the album title says it all)
woob - 1194 (dark ambient soundsculptures)

i feel ya here man! just remember most of the stuff that gets radio/video play is considered a joke to real hip hop heads. the underground is full of artists who have positive messeges, it's just that you'll never hear it because sex & violence is apparently what sells.
