| I was just wondering if anyone here listens to The Faint. They are a bad ass band that is a bit "gothic", a bit industrial, and sounds like they came straight out of the 80's. I highly suggest if you haven't heard of them to buy/download something off of their Danse Macabre album. Which many critics believe to be one of the best albums of 2002. I also think they are coming out with a new album in a few months so that's bad ass. |

| The faint is a f*cking awesome band. They're easily one of my favorites. Yeah, Danse Macabre is a great album. My favorite tracks are agenda suicide, let the poison spill, violent, and retro career melted (ie track 5, whatever it's called). Blank Wave Arcade is my favorite, though. Something about it just has an edge of Danse Macabre. I guess because it has more good songs... My least favorite is Media. It's got some good stuff on it, but I like the sounds of Blank Wave Arcade and Danse Macabre better. Hmm... I wonder when they'll release their next album... or tour.

I also believe that future historians will look at this epoch and recognize it as another instance of the 'madness of crowds.'" ~Dr. Lester Grinspoon |

| Ooh I love the faint! Listening to them right now actually, "Worked Up So Sexual" off Blank Wave Arcade. I can listen to them for hours and just zone out, the songs that have the violin in them are simply amazing! Wet From Birth is probably their best album imo but Blank Wave Arcade is awesome too. EDIT: Oh actually I lied, I was thinking of Wet From Birth when I said that Danse Macabre is their best album. If you haven't listened to the CD it is awesome all the way through. |
