I totally agree with the Gateful Dead. Right now they are my favourite band.

But I do think although America seems to have the est artists e.g Hendrix,Garcia,Morrison. Britain has the best bands.

This probably is mainly to do with the fact our climate being ****house. So where people in America and Australia play sport we have to stay inside and pat music.

As a side note, does anyone know of any album that has surpassed Pink Floyd's Darkside of the Moon being in the charts for 26 years?

(Syd Barett lives quite close to me out in the fens- i'm drunk)

hey man, britains come out with alot of crap bands too.Spice Girls, anyone?And i piss on U2 and especially piss on Bono.i just dont like the guy.he angers me.he can lick my ball sack to my butt crack and call it candy.

but yea the rest of those bands are good,dont see the Sex Pistols on there though,so you lose.

Replace U2 with Sex Pistols and you totally PWN

well completly diffrent genre form ya'll but, CARCASS came outta britian so thats a big plus for british music in my book.

even though there are countless other kick ass bands that have come out of America.
