| Ok so Van Halen played vancouver last night at the Pacific Coliseum... Me and a buddy went down after I got off work, we had 18th row tickets on the floor. Before going in we parked and blazed a couple bowls in his van. Then we went through security and he had a couple joints inside a metallica joint holder that was in his shoe. The guy totally tripped me out because he was like some little goody goody robot. His little pat down thing was so uniform and precise. He asked us if we had any drugs, alchohol, yada yada and for some reason he felt the need to inspect my chapstickt... So anyways after all he finds is two lighters he was all: wow only two lighters between both of you and was actually surprised that he didnt find any drugs..which he was probably expecting to since we were ripped. we both got shirts and then headed to find the floor area. Once in we sat down for a bit then decided to grab some munchies in the form of curly fries One of the security guards by the floor was pretty cool, he was trying to bull**** us into giving him our fries. It almost worked too but we werent that stoned. The opening act was Rose Hill Drive..never heard of them but a pretty decent band, looked like Hanson. They played some pretty rockin tracks. Anyways Van Halen was ****ing awesome. It was hard to hear Hagar's singing though on some songs, and I didnt recognize some of the first few songs until they started playing older stuff. Everyone had a wicked solo part except Hagar..he had one but it wasnt as good as everyone else's. We were on the end of the row and blazed our joints without any problems from security or anyone else. There was an older couple (in their 40's Id say) in front of us who looked like they were having a pretty good time..anyways the guy kept looking back and I think he wanted to blaze with us but since he didn't ask I didn't want to offend him by offering..my buddy thinks he was kinda choked we were blazing. My favourite part of the concert had to be Jump, the opening song, Eddy's wicked long solo and Panama, probably my favourite Van Halen song. I'm trying to find the setlist for the concert if anyone else has it..... anyone else go? I want to hear some more opinions of last night

| Hell yeah, dude, I saw Van Halen back in July. That was one hell of a concert. My drummer/stoner buddy almost went nuts during the drum solo. He lit up a joint just before the concert started. At one point he spotted a cop come into the stands near us, so without thinking twice, he just wound up and slung his joint out into the crowd. The best part was later when he went looking for it. Later that night, my buddies and I hotboxed a hotel bathroom.

| Oh man, that sounds awesome. How much were tickets? Only classic rock band I've ever seen was Yes a couple of years back, and tickets were like 35 bucks for lawn seats. Van Halen would rock my nads.
