mmm Froot Loops

I searched this forum and I did not find a post of similar content, so if this is a repeat post, I apologize.

At work today, the people I work with got talking about different songs that you swear the words are one thing, but what the singer is actually singing is something completely different.

One famous example:

in a song by Jimi Hendrix (I think it's Purple Haze)
sounds like: "excuse me while I kiss this guy"
actual words are: "excuse me while I kiss the sky"


My contribution to this is:

In "Not Just A Pretty Face" by Shania Twain (a country/pop singer), actual words are: "She flys an aeroplane, she drives a subway train, I think she pumps gasoline"
It sounds like: "she flys an aeroplane, she drives a subway train, I bet she huffs gasoline"


Anybody else have anything to contribute to this?

I only recently found out thats it's "deuce" not douche. Deuce is a term used by card players I think.

I always thought it was douche too, and could never figure out what the hell that song was about!

That song used to bug me for so long, but I never found anyone who knew what it was. This gives an explanation to what the hell the lyrics mean. Or don't mean, I guess.

Haha aw that's awesome. I love how when I was younger I used to view things so simply and always confuse things like that, which would currently just seem stupid. I love how just a few years can seperate cuteness from stupidity...

How about that Eifel 65 song "blue"? The chourus is just something along the lines of "I'm blue...abi ababa abi abba.....but I swear when you listen to it it just repeats "I believe I will die".....or maybe thats just me wishing he would so I wouldn't have to hear that song!
