| John Legend is a singer/songwriter/musician that works with Kanye West. He sings some of the background vocals and he's in the videos. He's also popular for his song "Ordinary People." My first time hearning his "Let's Get Lifted" CD, I was high, and it's been my favorite album since. I hope it's not just me and my friends thinking this, but a 'more than a few' songs on the CD refer to getting high. First of all, the album is called "Let's Get Lifted" - aka HIGH, lol .. . .and a lot of the songs in the album refer to taking hits and getting high and stuff. Then to top it off, track 11 is entitled "So High," and it's my favorite song. He's singing a love song and it appears to be to a woman, a woman named Mary J, lol. He's singing to Mary J, like it's a person, his g/f or something. It's an awesome song and I was just wondering if anybody else had thought or heard of any relation to Legend's music and tokin' up. |
